Suggestion for new house rule:

I noticed a grave unlogic in the disarm rules. Trying to disarm while unarmed is a better option than to do so with a light weapon like for instance the shortsword. Both have the same penalty, –4. And if you manage to disarm while unarmed you get the opponents weapon, while with a weapon the opponents weapon just falls to the ground. If your attempt to disarm with a shortsword failed, your opponent can try to disarm you in return, while an unarmed person can`t be disarmed.

New rule:
- A person who tries to disarm while unarmed gets a –8 penalty on the roll. Having the Improved Unarmed Strike feat counts as attacking with a light weapon. Remember that Improved Disarm gives a +4 on the roll, so a person with both Improved Disarm and Improved Unarmed Strike would have +0 on the roll.

Maybe there should be an option if you succeed with a disarm with a one-handed weapon (or light weapon) you can grab your opponent's weapon as long as your off-hand is free?
